A love of food is a family trait, and heralding from a long line of great cooks, there was an element of concern surrounding my future when I left home aged 18, not knowing how to boil an egg. Once the initial love affair with Super Noodles had waned (although they are still a Guilty Pleasure - sorry!), I realised that if I was ever going to enjoy the type of food I had become accustomed to eating whilst at home (cooked by my Pops), I needed to get my backside in to a kitchen and learn. Thanks to Jamie, the Delia of my generation, I learnt some invaluable basic skillls as well as some brilliant dishes that I still cook today. Experience leads to confidence and having a hungry boyfriend (now husband and still hungry), I got plenty of experience. I believe that good food doesn't have to be complicated and fresh, local, seasonal produce will always deliver. My background is in TV - I worked as an Associate Producer when we lived in London but relocated to Ledbury following the birth of our daughter in 2006. I have always dreamt of owning a cafe and am thoroughly enjoying the reality....
